1) In VS2010, goto Tools > Options > TextEditor >i-r1">

2) And uncheck “Automatically populate toolbox items”.

3) Close the toolbox from VS2010.

4) Now Toolbox will not be loaded when you view the xaml designer.

5) To view the toolbox goto View > Toolbox. And close it again when it is not needed.
