Transition Update
The EHA-to-Office 365 transition started on May 2012 and will continue for 12-18 months. We are transitioning customers based their size, tier, and technical constraints. For information on what to customers can expect during the transition please visit http://GetArchiving.com
Partners interested in knowing their customer’s transition date will need to work with their customer to request for a transition date by opening a EHA support ticket through the EHA Admin Center. |

Licensing Update
All existing EHA Customers, weather Online and On-Premises transitioning to Office 365 will be provided entitlement to Exchange Online Plan 2. The implementation of these entitlements will vary based on the type of Volume Licensing agreement. The number of entitlements will be determined based on the total number of provisioned users, including active and disabled users, in EHA at the time of the transition. A summary of the EHA scenarios as wells as agreement type and grant lengths are below:
Customer who have purchased EHA but not activated Customers who have purchased but not activated and are on an Enterprise Agreement will receive entitlement to Exchange Online Plan 2 for the remainder of their existing agreement. Customer should expect entitlements to the new service over the next 60 days. |

EHA License Renewal EHA was removed from the May 2011 pricelist and therefore cannot be renewed. We are asking the partner to direct customers to purchase the O365 future SKU. Microsoft will maintain the customer’s EHA tenant until can technically transition the tenant to O365. Partners who are looking to renew customers on EHA should go through the following steps to review customers. Customer who are using Exchange On-premises or Office 365 Exchange Online and EHA

Partners interested in getting up to speed with the advanced archiving features of Office 365 should attend our weekly training session. Each 60-minute training session is delivered by an archiving specialist and will cover details of the transition including how to perform common archiving tasks in Office 365. LiveOffice Transition Program
Support for Bloomberg and Instant Messaging, other than Microsoft Lync, will not be supported in Office 365. We have established an agreement with our partner, LiveOffice for customers who cannot transition to Office 365 Exchange Online due to these requirements. Microsoft and LiveOffice have pre-negotiated prices to help minimize potential complexity with the transition and prioritize these customers. Offers include:
We have also established the LiveOffice FastPass Program which will enable customers to transition their data from EHA to LiveOffice with minimum downtown.
